Dog Park Board Meeting #2: Swag, Stickers, and Strategic Poop Alerts

Ann and Sarah, searching for best DTF options to get the best quality T-shirts. Supporting local business.

It was a packed day at the park with Misu, Hazey, and Pepper

We got a lot done just chatting and doing most things on our iPhone.

• We purchased a heat press (it’s happening!)
• Debated swag colors (passion was high, consensus was… negotiable)
• Finalized our mascot cat design—Louis Rainbow is officially our quirky brand king (See images below, he is happy to sign t-shirts if that's a motivator)
• Prepped for Last Thursday on Alberta:
→ We’ll be out promoting classes
→ Selling T-shirts to raise scholarship funds for kiddos
→ Handing out stickers + building our creative family one conversation at a time

We also talked about Friday’s first community dinner, which has grown every hour as old friends pop up in my inbox. I might need a bigger table—and I love that.

Linda and Pepper

Oh, and if you’re wondering how the meeting felt—it included me repeatedly telling Linda (our incredible community liaison) that her dog was pooping. Spoiler: it wasn’t. It was always someone else’s dog. Pepper was just standing innocently under her feet the whole time. "That's not my dog!"
Let’s just say… it became a bit of a running joke. You had to be there, but we laughed until we cried.

This is what community building looks like: real conversations, real connections, and a whole lot of joy in unexpected places.
