FAQ

  • Q: What if my child has no experience in art or digital tools? Are these classes suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! These classes are designed for all skill levels. Whether your child is just starting or already experienced, the goal is to build confidence, explore creativity, and learn new techniques that prepare them for exciting opportunities.

  • What materials or tools will my child need to bring?

Each class has a specific materials list, which will be shared once you register. Most materials are items you may already have, like an iPad for digital classes or basic art supplies for traditional ones. If you’re unable to get some materials, let me know, and we’ll find a way to make it work.

  • How large are the class sizes?

I keep class sizes small to ensure individual attention and plenty of hands-on time. Most classes will have around 8 –14 students per instructor. so everyone can learn and collaborate effectively.

  • How are the classes structured?

Each day is divided into morning and afternoon sessions. Students start with foundational techniques and skills, then apply what they’ve learned to projects in the afternoons. Every class focuses on both creativity and practical applications.

  • Will there be snacks or lunch provided?

Students will need to bring their own snacks and lunches. There will be designated breaks to enjoy their meals and socialize with peers.

  • Can parents attend or observe the classes?

While classes are designed for all aged students, parents are welcome to take the course as well, reach out with questions or attend the open house to get a feel for the program.

  • How will these classes help my child’s future?

These classes teach not just creative skills but also critical thinking, collaboration, and self-promotion. Students will leave with polished projects, a better understanding of how to market their work, and a solid foundation for college, careers, or self-employment.

  • Do you offer private lessons or 1:1 consulting?

Yes! If your child wants more personalized guidance, I offer 1:1 consulting tailored to their goals. Reach out to me for more details.

  • What if my child doesn’t enjoy the class?

I strive to make each class engaging and fun, but if your child isn’t satisfied, I’d love to hear their feedback and work to improve the experience. Let’s chat about what happened and find a more suitable class for them to attend.

  • How will you communicate updates and announcements?

All updates will be sent via email newsletters. You can also follow us on social media or check the website for the latest announcements.

  • What happens if the class I want is full?

If a class is full, you can join the waiting list. If 8 or more students join that list, we’ll try to add another teacher to accommodate everyone. I’ll notify you at least 30 days in advance to confirm if you still want to join.

  • Can we get a refund if my child cannot attend the class after registering?

Refunds depend on the timing of the cancellation. However, we can credit you for another summer class if you’re unable to attend the scheduled one. Contact me as soon as possible, and I’ll do my best to work something out.

  • My child has a friend coming too. Can they sit together?

Absolutely! Email me their names, and I’ll make sure they’re grouped together.
